Paul is the Founder and Managing Partner of The Preferred Client Group who began his career as an intern for Prudential-Bache Securities in 1983. Paul firmly believes in education and is constantly continuing his own studies to provide his clients with the best advice and guidance possible. He has earned the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification in his commitment to that goal. Paul’s practice concentrates on multi-generational planning with client’s entire families built on principles of trust, integrity and understanding. These principles allow him to provide his clients with meaningful guidance that is designed to help achieve clearly defined goals and objectives.

Over the span of my career, I have been fortunate to work with, and learn from, some of the best and most talented Advisors, Analysts, Managers, and Planners in the Financial Industry. I started in the Investment business in college in 1984 as an intern to one of the most nurturing, caring, and knowledgeable mentors in the Financial world. My practice specializes in total financial planning and management of multi-generational families, companies, Trusts and Endowments. Paul earned his undergraduate degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has lived in the Triangle for more than 40 years. He and his wife, Maggie, have two adult children. Paul is also a nationally recognized and sought-after public speaker and humorist.

As Chief Operating Officer, Janice is responsible for ensuring the efficiency of our operational procedures as they pertain to client services.

Janice has been part of the WealthPLAN team since 1992 and has earned the Series 6 and 63 securities registrations1. Since 2012, she has been a volunteer Judge of student essays for InvestWrite ®, a national competition for 4th – 12th graders produced by The Stock Market Game™ program.

Janice resides in Omaha with her husband and has two adult children. She enjoys daily walks, yoga, weekend golf, kayaking and loves to create herb and spice seasoning blends to jazz up every day and gourmet meals.

Jack Holmes, CFA®



Jack, a native of Omaha, joined the WealthPLAN Partners team at the end of 2014 to serve as the firm’s Chief Investment Officer (CIO). He spearheads the investment analysis and portfolio management areas.

Jack most recently spent three years as a portfolio manager and research analyst for a local independent trust company and, prior to that, spent four years working in corporate risk management and retirement account services for a national broker-dealer. Jack obtained a Master’s degree in Security Analysis and Portfolio Management from Creighton University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University in Finance.

Scope of Work and Greatest Satisfaction

Jack is responsible for managing the asset allocation and security selection processes used in structuring investment portfolios. He works closely with the WealthPLAN Partners advisors and clients to make sure that portfolios are designed to work towards the client objectives. He also provides insights and perspectives on financial market topics and events.

Community Involvement

Jack is a member of the CFA ® Society of Nebraska. He is also a mentor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program of Nebraska. He and his wife, Maggie, have two children. He enjoys spending his free time reading, traveling and golfing.
